Skala Development was founded by Chris Stevenson, a seasoned real estate professional whose expertise spans development, architecture, engineering, construction, and investment management. Throughout her career, she has invested in and developed real estate assets across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors, navigating multiple market cycles and delivering projects across several continents.

Chris Stevenson is a real estate developer, licensed architect, real estate broker, builder, and hands-on tradeswoman with more than two decades of industry experience. Her career has been defined by a unique combination of executive leadership and practical field expertise. She has led ground-up construction projects from concept through completion, working directly in the field alongside trades and construction teams while overseeing the design, entitlement, financing, and execution of complex developments.

Most recently, Chris managed a portfolio of Class A institutional real estate assets valued at approximately $3 billion, directing investment and asset management strategies focused on long-term value creation and operational excellence. Her ability to bridge the worlds of design, construction, and finance provides a comprehensive perspective that informs every project she undertakes.

In 2025, Chris was recognized in Who’s Who for her contributions to the built environment and her cross-disciplinary achievements in architecture, urban planning, construction, and real estate development.
